With the “Maras and Moray ATV Tour”, you will be able to feel the thrill of riding on four wheels and conquer any road while having fun in the mountains of Cusco. MARAS is important for the extraction of salt. From the time of the Incas, it was very transcendental because of the mineral, essential for human consumption, and in the time of the Colony, it continued in the same way.
MORAY was a center for the experimentation of crops used by the Incas for the acclimatization of products brought from other areas. Here you can see four concentric circular stone constructions forming a kind of rings that widen as they ascend. Its constructions are supported by strong stone walls; Around the main building, you can see platforms that form a kind of ironwork. Some believe that these constructions may have served as terraces or amphitheaters for civic-religious ceremonies and not only for agricultural use.
Doing ATVs in the Sacred Valley is one of the most recommended activities in and Maras – Moray is near the town of Ollantaytambo, an Inca town and is where the train station that takes us to Machu Picchu is located, everyone who comes to Cusco and the Sacred Valley does it to make the tour to Machu Picchu and other activities.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Pick up from the Hotel – Chinchero – Cruzpata – Moray – Maras.
- → 06.20 – 06.50 am or 12.20 – 12.50 pm We will pick you up at your hotel.
- → 07.00 am or 01.00 pm We will start the tour and go in a minivan to our base in Cruzpata, Chinchero (50 min.)
- → Here we will carry out a 15-minute guided practice, then we will give them the equipment and the semi-automatic ATVs. We will also sign a commitment not to drive recklessly, to take care of the equipment and our lives.
- → Once we are ready after the practice, we will start the tour towards the MORAY terraces, this was a center for experimentation with crops used by the Incas for the acclimatization of products brought from other areas. - → Later, we will go to the MARAS room mines, this town is important for the extraction of salt, since the time of the Incas it was very transcendental for the mineral, essential for human consumption and at the time of the Colony continuous of the same way. - → Once the 5-hour tour is finished, we will return to the base to board the minivan that will take us to the city of Cusco, we will leave them near the main square.
