Day 1: City Tour Cusco
We will pick you up at the airport in Cusco, and then transfer you to the hotel. You will have the morning free so you can acclimatize and at 11:00 a.m. We will pick you up at the hotel to start with the City Tour Cusco. The first visit will be to the Coricancha or Temple of the Sun (place where the sun god was worshiped). Then in a tourist bus we will move to the outskirts of the city of Cusco where we will visit the archaeological sites of: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. After the tour we will return to the city of Cusco. In progress .
Day 2: Machu Picchu
The tour begins with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco from 3:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., and then go by tourist bus to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board the train that will take you to Aguas Calientes, the duration of the Train ride is 1 hour and 45 minutes. All the way you will be able to appreciate beautiful landscapes with extensive fields of corn crops, cattle, mountains and snow-capped mountains.
Once arrived at the Aguas Calientes train station, our guide will be waiting to take you to the bus station, then we will travel for 30 minutes to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, after entering the Inca City of Machu Picchu, the guide You will begin with the guided tour of the main attractions such as: the guardian’s enclosure, the temple of the sun, the Intiwatana, the temple of the three windows, the sacred square, the temple of the condor, the sacred rock and others. Then we will have free time to take pictures and explore the place on our own.
After the visit to Machu Picchu, they will return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch not included, in the afternoon they will take the train to return to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to take them back to Cusco. In Cusco you will spend the night.
Day 3: Departure
A couple of hours before your flight back to your city, we will pick you up from the hotel to transfer you to the airport.
